Dr. Kendall Conger: Challenging Duke Health's DEI Policy Cost Me My Job

|

On this episode of The Miller Report: Real Clear Journalism, Maggie Miller speaks with Dr. Kendall Conger, a former Duke University physician who says he was fired after questioning the school’s diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda.

Conger worked at Duke Health for a decade. When he asked administrators for evidence behind the university’s 2021 “antiracist pledge,” he says they could not provide medical data—only studies showing racial disparities, none linking them to implicit bias. After raising concerns, he was fired. Now, Duke has changed their tune.

In this video we discuss shifts in DEI winds, disparate outcomes in health, and Conger's personal experience. His full article can be found here.
