After allegedly submitting more than 8,000 fraudulent voter registration applications on behalf of homeless people, two men have been charged with 41 counts related to voter fraud, according to the L.A. County District Attorney’s office.

Carlos Antonio De Bourbon Montenegro, 53, allegedly handed in the applications between July and October and if convicted of all charges, can face up to 15 years and eight months in state prison.
