Amazon suspended top entertainment executive Roy Price as reports swirled around him concerning sexual harassment, Harvey Weinstein and the Weinstein Company, which has projects in development with Amazon. Price is the focus of Twitter accusations by actress Rose McGowan, who, the Daily Mail reports, said her claim of being raped by Harvey Weinstein was dismissed by Price and her project in development for Amazon subsequently killed.
She also tweeted that "Amazon won a dirty Oscar," which seems to be a reference to Casey Affleck's Best Actor win for "Manchester by the Sea" this year. He took home that award despite two women accusing him of sexual harassment.
Reports also resurfaced that Price made sexually inappropriate comments to Isa Hackett, a "Man in the High Castle" executive producer who is the daughter of science-fiction author Philip K. Dick.
